Africa Photo Safari

Africa Photo Safari

My wife Pamela and I spent three weeks in Tanzania, Africa, in August 2021.

We originally planned to go on this trip in July, 2020, but the COVID-19 Pandemic forced us to cancel. We were lucky that the tour company rescheduled it the following year. The tour was led by Reed Hoffman, a professional photographer who works for the Associated Press (AP) and National Geographic. This trip was truly special, and not only included nine days traveling through national parks in Tanzania, but also included an opportunity to spend time with three different tribes.

After the safari ended, Pam and I spent three days relaxing on the white, sandy beaches of Zanzibar; an island off the coast of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean. That was definitely the way to wind down from traveling over 2,000 miles on dirt roads for nine days!

Pamela kept a diary of our trip, and I created a new post for each day. Below are links to each of the posts for easy reference.
